Full Day Game Drive

Activity Description

We start with an early morning pick-up (06h00) from the Numbi Gate entrance into Kruger National Park. From there we make our way to one of the Camps in Kruger while enjoying the diversity of wildlife the Kruger has on offer. Here the guests usually have breakfast (before 09h00) which is packed by their Hotel and they have a chance to browse through the shops and get to the bank (Skukuza). After Breakfast we head to a different Camp for lunch. On route we try to show guests as much as possible to enhance the experience! Lunchtime also gives guests a chance to stretch their legs and enjoy the splendor of this magnificent place! After Lunch we make our way back to the Hotel or Gate. This includes a “comfort stop” for the guests on the way at one of the many Camps or Picnic areas inside Kruger. The drop-off time are pre-arranged with the Guide but is subject to Gate-closing time!

Customer Reviews

Fantastic experience! It was a long day, but we saw so much and had a really nice time with our guide Bob who was good at spotting wild life and very interesting and fun to talk with! We highly recommend Echo Safari. Great time! - Jeanine Skorinko

It was a fantastic experience that will always be remembered. The guide was extraordinary, both in identifying the various species of birds and animals, and in the search for the rarest. Simultaneously, we were alerting ourselves to the need for the preservation of nature. The vehicle was comfortable and we had time for quick meals and fabulous photos. Thank you very much. - Victor Almeida

It was a very nice game drive. We have seen a lot of animales including four of the big five and as a plus even cheetahs. Thanks to the ranger. He was very friendly and told a lot of interesting worth knowing facts. - cornelis bouman

Before we left Australia we had booked 1 full day safari, the Panorama day tour and the Moholoholo and Heodspruit endangered species tour. Our first tour was the full day safari. It was freezing cold and rained all day......but we had a wonderful day. The guide (Suzette) was wonderful. She gave us lots of information on the animals, their habitat, the other animals that interacted with each one. She answered every question we had. We were so impressed with her that we booked another full day safari and a night safari hoping she would be taking us again, which she did. She was also our guide for the full day panorama tour. Again we cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from Suzette. By comparison the tour to the endangered wildlife at Heodspruit was the opposite. Francis was our guide on that tour. She hardly spoke to us on the way to or from the centre, spending most of her time on the phone. She sat away from us at the centre and offered no information. In fact she looked bored the whole time. If we asked a question we were only given the briefest of answers, mostly just yes or no. We were so disappointed in her that had we had her for our first tour (the full day safari) we not only would not have booked extra tours with Echo Africa, we would also have cancelled the other pre-booked tours. Suzette understood that as tourists we were thirsty for information and she provided it. We had fun on every one of the tours we did with her. We would gladly recommend her to our friends and family travelling there. The day with Francis, we were happy to get back to our accommodation. It is difficult therefore to recommend Echo Tours as there is no certainty of the guide chosen by you for any given tour. We cannot recommend a tour with Francis. - Margaret Pannell

Dear Sir/Madam, We went to Kruger Park and we stayed at Pestana Hotel on the 6th September. I went with my father and uncle, it was their first time there on a visit and I had booked a Full Day Safari because we had to return to Mozambique on the next day. I booked a Full Day Safari because I think if someone has only one day in the park they should enjoy it as much as they can. But unfortunately that didn't happen. We were informed by our guide that there were 4 people in our car that needed to come back to the hotel at lunch time because they had only booked an half day safari. We were extremely disappointed!! If it was a full day safari, it should meant to spend all day there, having lunch there, travelling inside it to visit it. Instead we had to return, had lunch in the hotel (they didn't have the chance to visit Shukuza or Lower Sabi Camps!!) ), and then return to the park taking the same roads!! I think this is a very wrong policy of your company. People that book different safaris should travel in different cars. This situation is really unfair for someone that has only one day to be there, it's really a shame. Regards, Catarina Ferreira - Catarina Ferreira
